Entry #4 A adventures spring break

 

If you were to ask me how was my spring break; I would say, I was up all night on a crazy adventure! What adventure you may ask? A reading adventure ( yup that's right READING!) I was never really into reading books, I always wanted to get myself into reading because I would see how a good book would be able to take someone out of reality and into a new world! I knew I wanted to pick up reading as a new hobby but wasn't quite sure where to even start. I am a big fan of psychological thrillers and I knew I wanted to find a big that would keep me on my toes! I had came upon " The Silent Patient" on TikTok and I had read some reviews saying that this book would keep you up all night, and boy were they right! "The Silent Patient" is about a woman's act of violence against her husband. A therapist obsession in trying to uncover this lady's motive. One evening Alice's ( the main character )husband returns home late from a photo shoot. Later that night Alice shoots him in the face a few times, and never speaks another word. A psychotherapist has challenged himself in trying to uncover what happen the night Alice killed her husband. This book has so many crazy twist and turn that there were times where I needed to step away for a little bit and gather my thoughts before returning back. I don't want to ruin it for people that are in search of a new book but let me just say that the ending had a shocking twist! I would highly recommend this book especially to all my psychology majors! This really kept my mind running.
